A League Original, The Phoenix struggled in his early seasons to make a mark in The League, finishing dead last in Season One and coming just one match away from winning the Season Two championship.  After the debacle that was his third season effort, he managed to talk his wife, Te'Snilo Bradenbury, to be his manager in Season Four.  A quick exit from the playoffs and some marital trouble behind the scenes caused Te'Snilo to leave The Phoenix between Seasons Four and Five.  When the fifth season started, it was learned part of the way into the season that The League had granted Tori Montgomery the right to be The Phoenix's manager for Season Five.  With a long-time associate in his corner, Phoenix made the most of it and won the Season Five championship in a one-match playoff against Johnny Triumph.  While he made no waves in Season Six (losing in the opening round of the playoffs to the eventual League Champion), he shined in the two post-postseason tournaments, walking away with victories in both.

A known wrestler all over the globe, Phoenix maintains his popularity in the Mid Atlantic US where he was raised, and used his League fame to give him popularity in Scotland and the Kinki precinct of Japan.  Yet he has the best luck in Mexico, holding a 71% win percentage in seven matches occurring there.
