A League Original, Johnny Triumph entered The League with a technical mindset and some chemical help in case that didn't work.  One of the few known steroid users in The League, it remains unclear how much they may have helped Triumph's career, though many look at his League-best 15-3 record in Season Five—far better in winning percentage (86.67%) to his next-highest win total in a season (10-4, 71.43%)—as definitive proof of his drug use despite not winning the League Championship that season.  However, the fact that he won the League Championship in Season Two cannot be taken away from him, and five out of six winning seasons prove that, steroids or not, Triumph is capable of getting job done within the squared circle.

 

While maintaining popularity in his home area (Mid West US), he has greater popularity in the Tri-State US region, while having slightly less in Japan's Kinki precinct.  Triumph is also one of the only League members who can claim to be undefeated in Mexico (7-0 career) while participating in The League.
