OK, how does this work?

The League was run from Seasons One through Six in the Wrestling Spirit II engine from Grey Dog Software, and results posted on the GDS forums.  Matches were run with varying modes and stipuations depending on the location of the show (determined randomly).  Shows were posted on a weekly basis.  In between shows, participants would inform me of any training they wished their characters to undertake, improving their stats from one show to the next, purchasing new "signature" and "Finisher" moves, and occasionally altering the moves their characters did.

 

That's fine, but what about now?

With the release of Wrestling Spirit III in December 2013, a decision was made to return from a self-imposed hiatus and "reboot" The League to allow a fresh start using the WS3 engine.  With the changes in attributes, traits, and a far easier way to create a moveset, it is the hope of the League Commissioner that the new engine will bring new life to The League and make it more competitive in the months ahead.

 

So how do I join?

Head to the Grey Dog Software forums (www.greydogsoftware.com/forum), register an account, and look for The League General Discussion thread in the Wrestling Spirit III section.  From there, just follow the directions.  You don't even need a copy of the game (though it wouldn't hurt to own it)!
